................when you don't make Cards?
When the mojo doesn't flow and I still want to keep busy I like to do other things rather than make Cards .... How about you?
I used to be an avid Counted Cross Stitcher ... always had a piece of embroidery in my hands and I have countless pictures on my walls.............. and then I lost interest! .. haven't picked up any cross stitching for about 14 years and then I saw a small piece of stitching on Lin's Blog and it made me want to pick up some cloth and thread again.
But I wanted to do my own thing and I didn't want to mess about with pen and paper.........
I used to have a program for the computer where I could design my own patterns but the program is so old it wouldn't work but I managed to find an up to date program and couldn't wait to get started.
So, what to do............... I have lots of embroidery threads and fabric and wanted to use up scraps so I had a little idea.
How about and ATC/Playing Card Size Handbag Notebook Jotter!

Stitched onto Rustic 18 Count Aida Cross Stitch Fabric so it's very tiny stitching.

Pink Card for you little notes/memos or sketches and it matches the pink flowers.
And the back is a mirror image of the front.
I used my Sizzix ATC Die Cutter and cut Mountboard for my flaps and Pink Card to my Jotter Section.
The fabric has been folded inside and is neatly glued together with Tim Holtz Grunge Paper to give it flexibility.
Well I'm off to place this on Etsy.
Many thanks for looking
