.........but I'm very naughty as this has been sitting on my desk since Sunday waiting to be photographed ... I will just about manage to get this entered before the Challenge closes.
The Challenge over at Less Is More this week is 'Neutrals'.
The first attempt I made didn't work no matter what I did so I just had to leave my craftroom and come back to it later ... no matter what I did, it just didn't seem to work!
After a think about it and another look at the inspirational pic I dug out a Hero Arts Stamp (Six Large Solids Shadow Stamp) I hadn't used for ages but I might dig it out more often now I've used it for this Challenge.
I coloured each individual block with an SU Earth Element Marker ... huffed over the inked stamp to re-moisturise and placed it on my Ivory Card.
Then I stamped my Foliage from my SU Vintage Vogue Stamp Set with my dark brown Earth Elements Marker directly over the top of my solid blocks ... My two Flowers were inked with the same markers and cut out to place separately over the Foliage with foam pads ... Just a little Pearl to finish.
I thought the finished card looked quite sombre and would make an ideal card for those not wished for occasions so finished by stamping my Deepest Sympathy Sentiment (HA Everyday Sayings Set).
So this is the entry for this Weeks Less Is More Challenge .........
However............. I really enjoyed making this and thought I might do a brighter happier version so I followed with this.
White Card this time ... again using the SU Earth Element Markers ... I stamped the Foliage in brown on this one and again used a Sentiment from the HA Everyday Sayings Set.

A light pink flower on this one ... I realised half way through that I'd placed the solid blocks the wrong way around so 'Just Saying Hello' is my first option and.........
'Thinking of You' is my second option.....
This time with my solid blocks in the right places and my flower colours correct ... I've stamped the foliage in red this time.
Here you can see all three......
Well I'm off to enter the Challenge and see what everyone else has done.

Oh my heavens, all three of these cards are FABUOUS!! I love the earth tones on the first card, and I also really like the other versions in reds...so pretty!

I adore these cards! Obviously, walking away for awhile worked for you because these are fabulous. I particularly like the neutral toned card. I love the warmth it portrays. Lovely!
