........... but this time it was from my Blogger Friend Sally, who created a fabulous Card here ... I don't have the Hero Arts Stamp she used, or any Tim Holtz Distress Markers so I went hunting through what I did have to see if I could do my version using the same stamping technique ... just a little improvisation lol!
And this is the result.............
As you can see I'm still leaning towards Less Is More and Clean & Simple at the moment.
I've again used my SU Earth Element Markers and used quite a few on the stamp before I huffed on it again to revitalise the ink before stamping.
The Field Flowers (what I'm calling the stamp) is Hero Arts Wild Flowers and the Butterfly is from the Hero Arts Framelit Dogwood/Butterfly Set.
I've punched a side feature with my Fiskars Border Punch and coloured it with a matching ink pad to add contrast.
I just love, love this watercolour effect and can't believe I haven't done this technique before (I don't think I have anyway) So thanks Sally for pointing me in this direction.
Many thanks for looking and I hope you like my watercolour effect.

Wow Suze this is really pretty, your flowers look so delicate, I love the water colour look. Such pretty earthy colours too. So happy you were inspired to use this technique, thanks for the shout out.
Hugs Sally
Love the delicate coloring and your design, too, Suze! I think these kinds of stamps and markers are perfect together
Love it, Suze! Beautiful effect from this technique! Love the yellow - so spring-y! :)
