I've made these a few weeks ago and thought I'd better Post ... the flash has reflected a bit but I thought I'd still share .... individual photos to follow.
Finally managed to get hold of some Grungeboard and Grungepaper and what can I say ......... Wow! .... I just love, love these products.
I wanted to do this little project last year ... I'm so glad I waited and used Grunge.

I'll come clean .... this Notebook on the left is actually a Christmas Present to me lol!
I need a quick reference to see what my Shift Pattern is .... and you never know when you need some paper.
So I thought I'd be a little inventive and created a little Notebook ... just big enough to hold some Paper and a Calendar Notelet .... The type you can attach to a Card.
I got to play with my Bind-it-all too, which has been gathering dust lol!
I embossed my Grungeboard and Paper with my Victoria Cuttlebug Embossing Folder and then inked with Distress Inks ... the Flower and Strap were Embossed with a Spotty Cuttlebug Embossing Folder.
As Mum also needs to know when I'm working (she looks after my fur baby) I thought a Notebook would be excellent as a stocking filler.
I used the same Inks as on my version but a different depth of colour.
Distress Inks used ~ Brushed Corduroy, Aged Mahogany, Fired Brick and Walnut Stain.
I sprayed them all over with a Spray Fixative to seal the colour.
The Grungeboard has also been debossed this time
Here's a view of the inside ...
I used the Grungepaper on the inside to create my pockets for the Notepaper and Calendar.
Luckily I had some Embroidery Thread that matched my inking ... I tried a different thread first of all and had to unpick it all as it wouldn't take the ink.
I love the effect you get ... The finished effect looks like leather.
I've used the Papermania Brad Kit for my Flower centres ....
The Flowers were made using Sizzix Thick Cut Dies ... you probably recognise Tim Holtz's Tattered Floral Die and also his Hardware Findings.
Just a quick side view.
Two more to go ... Little Stocking Fillers for two of my work colleague's ... I'll share a.s.a.p.
Many thanks for looking
