***** FREEBIE CLOSED *****

I've been a very naughtly Blogger in May .... As you probably noticed my Mojo went AWOL and I just couldn't face anyting Crafty ... No Cards, No Doodles, nothing!

Just to make it up to you I've drawn up my 'Little Angel Alice' Doodle ... Hope you like her!

If you'd like Alice all you have to do is click on the Pic and then Right-Click the larger Image to Save Slight amendment here as I seem to have had a lot of visitors but only 6 Comments so it would be nice if you would leave a Thank You Comment but I have now uploaded Alice to 4Share for Download ...

All I ask is that you leave me a Thank You Comment. ...

Alice is slightly smaller than before due to 4Share size restrictions but still prints out clearly as I downloaded and printed her from the 4Share Site to make sure she printed okay.

If you make any cards using this image and post them on your blog then please acknowledge  Stamp In Style, Cut It Cute with a link back to my Blog.
Please don't pass this image around it is for your personal use only.
Please direct anyone who would like the image to this blog so they can leave a Thank You Comment if they take it.

Inspired By My Garden! ~ Delicate Flowers & Butterfly!

Another Card Inspired by my Garden!

This time it's my lovely Pale Pink Flowered Rhododendron .... this was actually left in my Aunties Garden by a lady who wanted to start a flower bed (and lost interest) ..... It sat in the soil on its own and did look a poor pityful little thing when she gave it to me.

You should see it now lol!  If you click on the Pic you will see a close up of this beautiful shrub.

I again used my HA Wallpaper Flowers Stamp and SU Markers for a more washed out soft watercolour look .... The Circle Card is a Silhouette Die Cut which I had cut out for a project ages ago but never used .... I embossed a circle inside using a Nestie and then added my stitch lines in the groove ... perfect stitching the easy way ....Yay!

Little close-up of the Flowers ... I embossed these to make them stand out and also added some leaves using a punch.

Just a little close-up of the Butterfly .... I again shaded in the centre and then spritzed with water so that the colour would spread and blend to give a soft look.

Quick Recipe List:
My Silhouette Circle Die Cut
Hero Arts ~ K5185 Wallpaper Flowers
Spellbinder Wizard ~ Nesties & Label Dies
Martha Stewart ~ Monarch Butterfly Punch
Stampin' Up! ~ 'Fresh Cuts' - 'For You' Sentiment
Stampin' Up! ~ Cameo Coral Ink Pad, Cameo Coral & Ruby Red Marker (Earth Elements)
Leaf Punch
Grosgrain Ribbon and Embroidery Thread from my Stash

Having A Play ~ Left Over HA Flowers!

I've been having a play as you can see .... I'd already stamped the one Flower to see how it looked using my new Flower Accent Stamp (SU 2010 Mini Catalogue) and one of my cut out HA Flowers was lying on top of the piece .... thought it made an interesting background .

I'd already cut out one of the Flowers and curled the edges for another project so I added a Shabby Flower Die Cut (Tim Holtz) a few punched Ferns and my little HA Flower cut out.

Of course I had to add a little stitching to finish off .... A little embellishing and a Card is born lol!

Quick Recipe List:
Hero Arts ~ K5185 Wallpaper Flowers
Hero Arts ~ LL807 Messages
Stampin' Up! ~ Flower Accent (Mini Catalogue 2010)
Stampin' Up! ~ Really Rust Ink Pad (Earth Elements)
Stampin' Up! ~ Cameo Coral & Ruby Red Markers (Earth Elements)
Spellbinder Wizard Nesties.
Grosgrain Ribbon and Embroidery Thread from my Stash

Inspired by my Garden ~ Beautiful Pink Azaleas!

My 2nd Inspired by my Garden Card ..... this time the colours of one of my beautiful Pink Azaleas caught my eye ... I just love these Flowers ... I love when they bloom but I also love that they are evergreen so you always have plants in the garden all year around.

If you want to see the larger version please click on the pic to see it in all its glory.

Again using my HA Wallpaper Flowers inked with SU Cameo Coral (Earth Elements) and coloured with Cameo Coral and Ruby Red Markers .... I then used my filled watercolour brush to blend the colours.

A very simple delicate card with the added embellishment of a cut out coloured flower, Ribbon Slot Flower Die, Grosgrain Ribbon, Embroidery Stitching and one of my handmade Fimo Heart Buttons ... I added some texture with my favourite Cuttlebug Folder.

Quick Recipe List:

Little Walk Down Memory Lane & Gorgeous Flower Pots!

We went on a little Caravan Holiday July 2009 with Hubby and my Parents and returned to the Cotswolds ... Moreton in the Marsh, Broughton on the Water.   We lived in a  place called South Cerney not far from Cirencester) ..... we left the area when I was nine but I still have fond memories ....  I came across some of the Photos yesterday ... just had to show you this one! .... It's a street in Cirencester
leading to the Gates of the Great Park .... It looked so beautiful and colourful and the flower pots lined the whole length of the row of terraced houses.

I've left the link for the larger pic if you want to see a close-up ... just click on the pic to view.

Cirencester is an old walled Roman Town and this Roman Bust was outside on the wall of one of the houses on the same street.

If you like your history you would love this Town with it's little streets, beautiful old houses and links to our Roman past.

Hope you enjoyed my little walk down memory lane.

'Inspired by my Garden' ~ Using up Scraps & Playing!

Inspired by this beautiful little plant in my Garden ..... Had to check the label (Love Flowers but don't know what all the names are lol!) ... This is called Phlox Sub White Delight .... the Flowers are softly shaded Pink with Dk Pink spots and orange centres.

When I was looking through my Stamps the Hero Arts Wallpaper Flowers just shouted at me as I just thought it looked like my gorgeous little plant.

If you'd like to see a close-up of the Flower I've left the larger link so you can see the colours better ..... Just click on the Pic to see a larger version.

I have so many scraps (Card Shapes cut out but undecorated, started projects .... I thought I'd try and make some space) .... I've taken a little liberty with the background lilac shade .... I was going to do this with Blues originally but changed my mind half-way through (might still have a go with a different card ... keep getting spin off ideas ... does this mean the mojo's back lol!)

I started by stamping with Milled Lavender Distress Ink and then watercoloured using my Perfect Plum SU Marker ..... I coloured the Flowers with three of my Rich Regal SU Markers ..... the orange centres are SU Pumpkin Pie Marker (Earth Elements).

The Monarch Butterfly has been coloured with the three shades I used to colour the flowers (SU Rich Regals) ... I then spritzed with water while the ink was still wet and let the colours spread ... once the colours had merged I dryed with my heat gun so I wouldn't get watermarks.

A little stitching to finish it off ..... Hubby asked if I had a tool to created the stitch holes ... as a matter of fact I do but never use it ... Can you remember the tool? It was used to mark holes in the pattern so you could rub chalk over the seams on the pattern, you could then see the seam allowance on fabric .... I always do the holes by eye with my piercing tool.

Quick Recipe List:
Hero Arts ~ K5185 Wallpaper Flowers
Distress Ink ~ Milled Lavender
Stampin' Up! ~ Perfect Plum (Soft Subtles) Regal Rose, Rose Red, Bravo Burgundy (Rich Regal) Pumpkin Pie (Earth Elements)
Martha Stewart ~ Monarch Butterfly Punch
Wizard Nestie Circles
Grosgrain Ribbon and Embroidery Thread from my stash.

Mainly Flowers SU! April Challenge Card ~ 'Good Neighbours'

Just thought I'd show you I haven't been completely idle in the Crafting Dept ....

This is the Card I created using the Stampin' Up! April Challenge Pack bits and pieces from Joanne at Mainly Flowers .... Lovely Chocolate Chip and Caramel Card and some lovely Background Paper (Sorry I don't know what it is though)
I just had to team it up with the Sale-a-bration 'Good Neighbours' Stamp set and it gave me a chance to play using the 2Step Stamp technique and my SU Earth Element Markers.

Just a little close-up .... I pricked the edges of the Caramel Card to give a false stitch effect ....

The background houses have been stamped in just the Caramel Colour and I spotlighted my main Image with my SU Birthday Punches and foam pads so that this stands out ... the centre punch with Image has been cut out with a Circle Nestie.

Recipe List:
Stampin' Up ~ 'Good Neighbours' Sale-a-bration Set
Stampin' Up ~ Challenge Pack Card
Stampin' Up! ~ Earth Element Markers
Stampin' Up! ~ Scallop & Circle Punch

Flourishes Everywhere....

I've been a bit mojoless, hence not posting much lately ... this has been lying on my desk for a while waiting to have its picture taken .... my Craftroom is feeling neglected but I have attempted to start tidying which is a priority, so hopefully my mojo will return once I'm straight in there.

As you can see, prior to my shut down I've been playing with my Nesties, Core'dinations Card  and my Birds & Swirls Cuttlebug Embossing Folder.

My HA Flourish Stamp and HA Sentiment have been inked with my Brilliance Pearlescent Beige ink pad so it would match the Core'dinations ..... I've embellished with my Martha Stewart Hydrangea and Butterfly Punches in Red and Cream for a contrast.

I've embossed the Hydrangea Flower Petals with a Quickutz Goosebumps Embossing Folder so that it would give some texture and I then separated the petals.

Recipe List:
Hero Arts ~ F5042 Leaf Flourish
Hero Arts ~ LL807 Messages
Nesties
Cuttlebug ~ Birds & Swirls Embossing Folder
Martha Stewart ~ Butterfly and Hydrangea Punches
Woodware/Personal Impressions ~ Butterfly Punches
Brilliance Pearlescent Beige Ink Pad
Quickutz Goosebumps Embossing Folder
