'Teddy Candycane Merry Christmas'

I don't know if anyone else is the same but when I start a Card I find I get loads of spin-off ideas and want to start them all at once lol!

So here is the more elaborate version of Teddy Candycane ............ I did actually start this one 1st but went off it as I wasn't happy with the background ....... it was still sitting in front of me as I created the other one, so it evolved as I went along.

I started the background by stamping with the Niagara Mist Versamagic and then used Versamark with clear embossing powder over the top but off set it so it shadowed the previous stamping ........... I then used my Cut-N-Dry Foam again with the Niagara Mist to blend over the top which gave me a lighter shade but you can still see the background stamping underneath and it made the clear embossing pop.

I used my Silhouette Frame Die Cut again but changed the position. The Merry Christmas Border strip is actually made using Scallop Scissors and a hole punch. All finished off with a little stitching, Grosgrain Ribbon and Foam Pads.

Stampin' Up! - 'Best Wishes & More' Snowflake

I've invested in a few Stampin' Up! bits and pieces and I'm quite pleased with my attempt at using only Stampin' Up! products ............. excluding Ink Pads of course.

The background has been stamped using Aspen Mist Versamagic and the Canvas Background Stamp and then I've over stamped with the snowflake.

I've used the Fiskars Threading Water Border Punch for the central section and coloured it with Aegean Blue Versamagic

All elements have been cut with Spellbinder Wizard Nesties, coloured with Aegean Blue and Red Magic Versamagic. I then assembled with foam pads.

The edges of the Background have been distressed and of course I had to include a little stitching.

My Teddy Candycane & Hero Arts

I've been playing with some of my Artwork and the Silhouette and managed to create my own Decoupage ................ hurray no more having to cut out by hand! It took me a little while to get it to line up correctly as I didn't have any instructions but I managed to save the artwork as a pic file and a cut file in one GSD file so am feeling quite chuffed with myself ........... All I have to do now is work on all my other pieces of Artwork.

When I saw this Fab Hero Arts Stamp I just new it would tie in nicely with my Artwork ...... The Spot Stamp worked nicely too.

Sarita (Little Princess Cards) was kind enough to share her Inkpad info about Elzybells new Inky-dinks. I bought the pigment one but I think I may also invest in the hybrid version so I can stamp onto acetate. The coverage is great and you get a strong contrast on dark shades.

'In The Pink'

I've been naughty as this Card has been sitting on my desk waiting to be photographed for a couple of weeks and I just haven't got around to it.

I thought I'd have a play with some light pink card, white embossing powder and colouring pencils and this is the result ........... it was for a little girl who loves pink (I'll have to give it to her next year)

Just had to share this with you .......................... Get down to your Boots Store tomorrow as the offer finishes and its only £17.50 instead of £35.00 ......... the websites sold out already.

Mum had one too ................ I'd been given a voucher for 10% off if you spent a certain amount so we clubed them together so I paid, never thinking about the 3 for 2 offer. The Sales girl said "don't you want your 3rd one." well we looked at each other as the penny didn't drop straight away in our excitement.

We're sharing the goodies in the extra box. Am very happy as Mum's giving me her box too ..................... Does that mean I'm going to have a tidy Craftroom lol.
