'Cute & Cuddly Cont! ~ Making Use Of Bits & Pieces!

I just had to combine my 'Tag You're It! - Week #51 ~ 'Cute & Cuddly!!' Tag with a Card Template I didn't use for another Challenge!

The Card has been Cut with one of my Silhouette Templates and Stamped with one of my new Hero Arts Background Stamps................If you've visited before you know I just lurve Stamping Backgrounds lol!

Sorry, I had to remove the Grosgrain Tag loop!

The edge of the Card has holes in the Scallops and I've tied the Grosgrain Ribbon through at the side to form a Bow!............I've made a small Flower Tag from a Quickutz Flower & a Circle Die, Stamped a Hero Arts Sentiment and attached it to the Bow with a small Silver Ring I made!

Sketches!{By Tamara} ~ Sketch #88 ~ 'Blast From The Past!' ~ 'Humming Birds!'

Well, I don't know where the Weeks are going lol!
It's Thursday again..............Yes! That means it time for a new Card Sketch by Sketches!{By Tamara}.

This week Sketch #88 is actually a 'Blast From The Past!'..................So, here is my DT Version of this Sketch lol!

I created the Card section and matting layers using a Template I created for the Silhouette..........I didn't want too small a card, so didn't use my Nesties this time!

So, what did I do this week!....................White Background Paper has been Stamped with Metallic Silver Encore Ink Pad and Judikins Arabesque Background Stamp (I just love this Stamp, you get so many different looks from it by using different Inks!)............I then over printed the edge of this with 'Cherry Blossom' by Rubber Stampede.....Coloured in the Blossoms with a mix of Perfect Pearls and Red Watercolour........Grey Watercolour for the Branches!

The Flower is cut using the Nestie Flower Creations and I've Embroidered the Edge of the Red Petals with Silver Lurex Thread (The Silver Stamped Backround Layer has also been Stitched at the edge with this Embroidery Thread!) .....................had to get the Stitching in somewhere lol!

I thought I'd take the Pic at an angle so you could see the dimension!.........I created the Humming Birds so they had wings, so they looked as if they were flying and added the little Flower details (Cut on the Silhouette)...................the Flower & Birds have been attached with Silicone Glue so they POP!

I don't usually decorate the inside but as the Charcoal Card is dark it gave me the ideal opportunity to add an insert (Instead of putting my Sentiment on the outside, I've put it inside lol!)

Quick Recipe List:
Humming Birds, Card Template & Layers ~ Created with the Silhouette/Adobe Illustrator
Judikins ~ Arabesque Background
Rubber Stampede ~ 3552J Cherry Blossom
Hero Arts ~ Small Sentiment 'Happy Birthday' from a Set
Spellbinder Wizard ~ S4-072 Flower Creations
Encore Ultimate Metallic Silver Ink Pad
Silver Lurex Embroidery Thread & Brad from my Stash
Charcoal Card ~ Monks Den (local Craft Shop)
Red Card & Silver Paper from my Stash

Why don't you pop over to Sketches!{By Tamara} and see what the other Fab DT Member s have created..................perhaps, play with us this week...............we'd love to see what you come up with!

I feel really honoured and appreciate being the Winner this week! Thanks a lot Kath and the Tag You're It Team!

Sketches!{By Tamara} ~ Sketch #87 ~ 'Blossoms Everywhere!'

Well it's Thursday again and time for the Card Sketch at Sketches!{By Tamara} .............This week it's Sketch #87 and here is my 2nd DT offering!

I had a vague idea of where I was going to go with the Wonderful Sketch when I first saw it and I had the idea in my head for the Colour Scheme, it was to be delicate and I wanted to create the quilting effect!

The Green Pearlescent Flower Embossed Card was from a QVC kit ages ago and has just sat in the box............It has been teamed with White Pearlescent Card!

So, what did I do!................Background has been Rubber Stamped with Hero Arts Wavy Leaf Pattern and scored to create the quilt look..............I then pierced my holes for the outside stitching and French Knots..........this I then Embroidered!

The Centre Flower Cut-Out and Daisy have been cut on the Silhouette using a Template I quickly made up..............The Daisy Petals I scored to give Dimension!

The large Flowers have been Cut & Embossed with the Wizard Flower Creations Die.......the tiny Flower is from a Punch..........lightly shaded Pink & Green using an Ink Pad (See Recipe List).......
The Flower Centres have been Embroidered with French Knots.

'Blossoms, Blossoms, Everywhere' is from a Hero Arts Stamp Set and has been shaded to match the other elements.................I made the banner by curving the corners and adding the Ribbon Slot holes...................Liquid Pearls has been added to the Flower centres as a final touch!

Recipe List:
Hero Arts ~ S5050 Wavy Leaf Pattern
Hero Arts ~ LL939 Garden Wisdom Set ~ 'Blossoms Everywhere'
Spellbinder Wizard ~ S4-072 Flower Creations
Tiny Flower Punch ~ Freebie from Craft Mag
Versavine Vintage Sepia Ink Pad
Distress Ink Pad ~ Worn Lipstick & Shabby Shutters
Liquid Pearls ~ White Opal

Well, Sketch #86 is soooo good........I just had to keep on playing lol!

A Simple version this time......................"Where's the Stamping?"

Well, this makes a change for me..............I've used Papers and not Stamped anything lol!

The Background Paper is Ipizzazzill from Creative Imaginations (Monks Den) and the Nestie Squares are cut with Basic Grey Pink Flamingo (Blog Candy Win from Craftlings Crafting).

I've used a Basic Cream Hammered Card (Argos Special) which I've used for the Punched Butterflies, Die Cut Wording and the Squares behind the Flowers!

Flowers & 'For You' Wording are Quickutz Dies and the Label is from the Wizard Ribbon Trio Set!

Cream Embroidery Thread and the Cream Grosgrain Ribbon are from my Stash!
