'Its A Boy' Baby Card For A Friend

A dear friend of mine has just had a Baby Boy!
Thank you Susie Sunshine for the Link on how to make this Brilliant Card.

I inked the Embossing Folder and 'It's a Boy!' Rubbers Stamp with a small Ink Pad I have but I can't remember where from!

'Thanks a Latte!' Papertake Weekly Challenge & 'No Patterned Paper!' Cute Card Thursday Challenge

This weeks Papertake Weekly Challenge is 'Thanks a Latte!', which is to make a thank you card! With an optional extra to use coffee and cream colours too (the Latte bit lol!).

I've just noticed the Challenge 16 'No Patterned Paper' for Cute Card Thursday this week so I thought this would be an ideal candidate. You are allowed to make your own patterned paper or card by stamping, inking, doodling etc. on plain paper or cardstock. You can emboss, tear and add anything else you like. The only restriction is no 'bought' patterned paper!

Haven't felt well for the last couple of days! Don't know if it's a Summer Bug but it left me feeling achy and really drained, sinus's have been acting up as well, so earache, sore throat and funny head have just about knocked me for six! Still feeling drained but back to work tomorrow so I thought I might feel better if I made something!

Recipe List:
The Background is actually a mistake but I like it! I inked up the Cuttlebug Folder but my Card slipped as I placed it ready to go through the Big Shot! I also inked the wrong side so it Debossed instead of Embossed but I liked the effect so I just used a Brayer Roller with a different shade ink over the top! I then used the same inks on all my bits to make them match! I've used Foam Pads on the Oval Frame and Mug to make them POP!
Cuttlebug Bloom Dots ~ Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Walnut Stain & Antique Linen) ~ Wizard Nesties (Ovals) ~ Quickutz Rev - Flourish & Cookie Cutter Basic Phrases ~ Quickutz Squeeze - Mug, Doo Dads Flower & Single Flower ~ Silver Brad Coloured with Chocolate Pebeo Gloss & Paper Flower from my Stash!
Hope you like it!
